Due to the uncertainty in the Italian flats markets, demand has been moving on a weak trend in Italy. In this market, HRC base prices of the local mills are standing at €420/mt ex-works; however, it is said that they may decrease their price levels down to €400/mt depending on tonnage.

On the other hand, HRC offers given from China to Italy have shown a decrease as compared to the previous weeks and are currently standing at €375-380/mt CFR for late October/November shipments and 90-day deferred payments. Meanwhile, it is heard that international trading firms have concluded HRC and HDG bookings from China in order to sell the material to Europe. HRC offers given from Ukraine are at €380-390/mt CFR Italy for November shipments and 90-day deferred payments.

On the HDG side, Chinese origin offers given to Italy for 0.5-0.6 mm 100 gr/m² zinc coated materials are at €525-535/mt CFR for November shipments and 90-day deferred payments. Offers given from India to the same country are standing at higher levels.
