US HRC, CRC prices stable through July 4 holiday week

Spot market prices for US domestic cold rolled coil (CRC) have continued to remain level, at $49.50-$51.50 cwt. ($1091-$1135/mt or $990-$1030/nt) ex-mill, while the most commonly heard spot market price transaction range for US domestic HRC has remained in the range of $44-$46 cwt. ($970-$1014/mt or $880-$920/mt), ex-mill. Activity during the current week has trended light, as many within the US have taken the week off due to the July 4 holiday.

Standard market activity is expected to resume on Monday.
