In the UK market flats prices have decreased by an average of $138/mt in the last two and a half months. The anxious wait in terms of end-user demand and credit insurance has been continuing in the UK market, which is currently one of the weakest markets in northern Europe.
UK flat rolled market moves on a weak trend
In current northern European origin flats offers to the UK, HRC prices are standing at the level of $400/mt FOT, CRC offers are in the price range of $500-510/mt FOT, while HDG offers are at $600/mt FOT. All prices are excluding VAT and for 60-day deferred payments.
