According to market sources, hot rolled coil (HRC) and cold rolled coil (CRC) demand in Turkey's flat steel export markets has remained weak. Both HRC and CRC export offers from Turkey have softened by $5/mt over the past week due to the downward pressure from Chinese low-priced offers on global markets. Accordingly, Turkish HRC and CRC export offers have moved down to $575-585/mt FOB and to $670-680/mt FOB, respectively for November output. If Chinese flat steel export prices have continued their declines, Turkish export offers will likely soften further.
