Sluggishness prevails in Turkey’s flat steel export markets

After the Ramadan holiday, demand in Turkey's flat steel export markets has remained on the weak side, while the sluggishness in the export markets has generally continued. Meanwhile, the export quotations have remained unchanged as compared to previous weeks.
 
Currently, ex-Turkey offers for hot rolled coil (HRC) are still at $610-620/mt FOB, cold rolled coil (CRC) offers stand at $740-750/mt FOB, HDG offers for 0.5 mm thickness are at the level of $810-820/mt ex-works, while offers for PPGI are standing at $920-940/mt ex-works.
