After firming up a great deal since the beginning of March, slab price level ex-Brazil appears to have calmed down a little. The latest reported price level for exports was at $390/mt, accompanied with reports indicating offers at around $400/mt, but without any confirmed booking. The strong state of export offers is due to tight domestic supply.
