Russian steelmaker Zapsib, subsidiary of Russian mining and steel producing company Evraz Group, has reduced its slab prices for the export markets and has offered slab to Taiwan at $375/mt CFR. Market sources state that Taiwanese buyers have found this price level to be on the high side and are seeking $350/mt CFR in their counter-offers.
