Russia’s local flats prices rebound due to livelier demand

Russia-based flats producers have increased their domestic hot rolled sheet (HRS) and cold rolled sheet (CRS) prices for November production, taking into account the somewhat livelier demand seen from the traders’ side over the past couple of weeks. In addition, Severstal has halved its available allocation for the mentioned month due to the traditionally scheduled maintenance works. In addition, NLMK, according to sources, will hold repairs at its cut-to-length line, which will also affect the overall sheets allocation in the local market in Russia, SteelOrbis understands.
