Turkey has continued to improve slightly compared to last week. Despite this improvement, PPGI prices in the local market have declined by a further $30/mt, following the downtrend in the local hot dip galvanized coil market. Currently, Turkish mills' local prices for RAL 9002 0.3 mm 100 gr/m² zinc-
coated PPGI are standing at $885-905/mt, while offers for RAL 9002 0.5 mm are at $770-790/mt and prices for RAL 9002 1 mm stand at $705-725/mt. All the offers in question are on ex-works basis, exclude 18 percent VAT, and are for February and March
production.
On the other hand, demand for Turkish PPGI exports has been slack over the past week, while ex-
Turkey PPGI offers have declined by $20/mt week on week to the range of $770-790/mt FOB for deliveries in February and March.
