Over the past week, demand in the local Turkish stainless steel market has been at low levels. Market sources state that Turkish stainless steel producers are planning to increase their domestic offers in February due to the sustained high levels of nickel prices.
Meanwhile, Turkish producers’ prices of 304 grade 2B stainless steel CRC are still at $2,400-2,500/mt ex-works and their prices of 430 grade 2B stainless steel CRC are standing at $1,400-1,500/mt ex-works, both indicating sideways movement week on week.
