Availability problems continue to be observed in the cold rolled spot market in Turkey, with spot prices increasing by $10/mt due to higher producers' prices for CRC. Hot rolled product prices have remained stable, but traders expect new increases in the market because of strong demand in the flat steel spot market. "Stocks are at a record low in the spot market and demand is strong. Our prices have increased by approximately 25 percent since the beginning of November and producers’ prices continue to increase every day and price increases in the spot market are also very likely," a trader told SteelOrbis.

Since last week, local spot prices have increased by $20/mt for CRC and remained stable for HRC and hot rolled pickled and oiled materials.
