Most Russian mills have officially announced their hot rolled sheet (HRS) and cold rolled sheet (CRS) prices for July production for local buyers. The levels have mainly increased compared to last month with the support of the decent seasonally improved domestic demand and the generally positive situation in the global market.
Both Severstal and MMK have increased their HRS offers by RUB 5,000/mt ($58/mt) compared to last month, while in the CRS segment one of them has kept its offers stable, while another raised its offers by RUB 12,000/mt ($139/mt), seeing good demand and limited allocation in the sales regions, SteelOrbis has learned.
NLMK, the third flats producer in Russia, is rumored to have rolled over its prices for July at RUB 109,000/mt ($1,266/mt) for HRS and at RB 119,000/mt ($1,383/mt) for CRS, both on the CPT basis.
