On December 22, Pakistani producers of cold rolled (CR) and hot dip galvanized (HDG) coils have once again raised their offer prices, following the ongoing increase in feedstock prices in the global market, in particular, in prices of hot rolled coils (HRC). “Nobody knows what is going on in the market and nobody has any idea when it is going to stop. However, people are stirring to stock material over here,” a representative of a Pakistani mill stated.
Accordingly, CRC and HDG prices in Pakistan have increased by PKR 5,000/mt ($31/mt) compared to the previous offers voiced a week ago.
