China’s domestic stainless steel market has moved on a stable trend during the seven days.
Global nickel prices have risen slightly compared to one week ago. On February 6, the three-month nickel price at the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed at $13,385/mt, while LME nickel inventory on the same date totaled 350,652 mt.
Overall trading activity in the domestic stainless market has been at low levels in the past week. Some traders have already left the market ahead of the Chinese New Year holiday (February 15-21), while other traders are preparing the exit the market are no longer focusing on sales. As for the coming week, it is believed that domestic stainless steel prices will continue their stable trend before the holiday.
