Demand for imported flat steel in Turkey has risen slightly during the past week in line with an increase in inquiries for September delivery. However, market sources state that the concluded deals are for small tonnages and so demand is still weak.

Meanwhile, import HRC (hot rolled coil) offers to Turkey have remained unchanged during the past week, with Russian HRC offers at $355-365/mt CFR and Ukrainian HRC offers at $345-355/mt CFR.

In the same period, cold rolled coil (CRC) offers to Turkey have also moved sideways, with Russian CRC offers at $455-465/mt CFR and Ukrainian CRC offers at $445-455/mt CFR.
