Import HRC offers to Oman indicate anticipated change sooner than expected

SteelOrbis has been informed by market sources that prices in the Omani import hot rolled coil (HRC) market, where it was expected that prices would move up after the end of Ramadan, have increased in the past week, with HRC offers from Russia to Oman rising by $10-15/mt week on week.
 
Accordingly, September production HRC offers from Russia and India are now standing at $565/mt CFR, while Chinese and South Korean HRC offers are at $580/mt CFR Oman.
