In the Saudi Arabian domestic market, hot rolled coil (HRC) prices are stable amid weak demand. Market activity is expected to remain quiet and demand to be slow throughout July and also in August due to Ramadan.
SteelOrbis has been informed that, in the Saudi Arabian market, Egyptian origin 1.2 mm HRC offers are standing at $860/mt CFR, while offers for Japanese origin 1.2 mm HRC stand at $830/mt CFR, both for September shipments.
In the meantime, Saudi Arabian flat steel producer Hadeed is currently offering HRC to the domestic market at $760-770/mt for deliveries to customer in September.
