HRC prices in India

SteelOrbis has been informed that in the Indian domestic market Tata Steel's HRC base prices have been standing at the level of INR 25,500/mt ($523/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT; meanwhile in the same market prices of HRC booked from the CIS have been at $450-460/mt CFR India for large tonnages. Meanwhile, the local HRC level from stockists in Chennai has been at INR 26,000/mt ($533/mt) ex-warehouse, whereas the local HRC price level from stockists in Delhi has been at INR 25,500/mt ($523/mt) ex-warehouse.
 
While HRC prices in Delhi have this week increased by an average of 1.3 percent, they have been flat in Chennai as compared to last week.
