SteelOrbis has learned that the base prices of Indian producer Tata Steel for HRC are at the level of $500/mt ex-warehouse in the local market. Meanwhile, local production 0.5-1.0 mm 120 gr/m² zinc coated HDG is priced at $750-765/mt ex-warehouse. As regards local production CRC, the offer levels are at $540-570/mt ex-warehouse in India's domestic market.
Looking at the Indian flats export market, Indian producers are offering HRC for export at $440-450/mt FOB India, whereas 0.5-1.0 mm 275 gr/m² zinc coated HDG is being offered by domestic producers to the export markets at $700-710/mt FOB India; both for January shipment.
In the Indian flats import market, ex-Ukraine HRC is being offered to India at the price level of $440/mt CFR Mumbai for January shipment, whereas ex-China HRC is being offered to India at $515/mt CFR Mumbai, also for January shipment.
