Hesteel raises most flat steel prices for Nov, medium plate and PPGI stable

On November 5, major Chinese steelmaker Hebei Province-based Hesteel has increased its list prices for most flat steel items for delivery in November.

Accordingly, for the period in question, Hesteel has raised its current offer prices for hot rolled coil (HRC) by RMB 200/mt ($28.4/mt). At the same time, its prices for hot rolled pickled coil, SPCC, hot base galvanized sheet, cold base galvanized sheet and cold rolled coil (CRC) increased by RMB 150/mt ($21.3/mt), RMB 400/mt ($56.8/mt), RMB 50/mt ($7.1/mt), RMB 150/mt ($21.3/mt) and RMB 150/mt ($21.3/mt), respectively.

The producer has kept its prices for medium plate and pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) stable, SteelOrbis has learnt. All prices are on ex-works basis.
