HDG exports offers increase slightly in Brazil

The reference price for the export from Brazil of hot dipped galvanized products (HDG) is currently $970/mt, FOB conditions, having the G40 grade and 4.75mm thickness product as reference, against $960/mt two weeks ago.

In March, Brazil exported 68,900 mt of HDG, in average at $584/mt, while importing 29,500 mt of the product, in average at $693/mt, both FOB conditions.

In the Brazilian domestic market, HDG is currently sold by producers, in medium to large volumes to end users or distributors, at BRL 6,412/mt ($1,151/mt), ex-works, no taxes included, little changed from BRL 6,435/mt two weeks ago.
