SteelOrbis has been informed that ArcelorMittal's base prices for HDG in the Polish market are currently standing at the level of €470/mt ($599/mt) ex-works, indicating a €20/mt decrease compared to last week. Meanwhile, it is possible to find February production CRC from the same producer at €440/mt ($561/mt) ex-works, down €10/mt week on week. Crisis which affects automotive and white goods industries has led HDG and CRC prices to close up HRC prices gradually.
Looking at the import flats offers in the Polish market, ArcelorMittal Bremen is offering German origin CRC to Poland at the level of €440/mt ($561/mt) DAF. On the other hand, Slovakian origin HRC from U.S. Steel Kosice is being offered to Poland at €380/mt ($484/mt) DAF, indicating a €10/mt decrease compared to last week. Hungarian origin Dunafer production HRC is being offered to the same country at €360-370/mt ($459-471/mt) DAF, marking a €15/mt drop compared to last week and the same producer is offering CRC to the same country at the level of €410/mt ($522/mt) DAF, decreasing by €20/mt as compared to last week. Meanwhile, Russian producer Severstal is offering HRC to Poland at €350/mt ($446/mt) DAF, i.e. a decline of €10/mt week on week, and 0.5 mm 100 gr/m² zinc coating HDG is being offered to Poland by the same producer at €455/mt ($580/mt) DAF, down €20/mt week on week.
