Over the past week, European domestic flat steel prices remained unchanged. Accordingly, hot rolled coil (HRC) prices in Europe are still at €500-540/mt ($585-632/mt), while cold rolled coil (CRC) stand at €580-620/mt ($678-725/mt), both ex-works.

After the imposition of definitive antidumping duties ranging between $17.6/mt and $96.5/mt on imports of HRC from Brazil, Russia, Ukraine and Iran in early October, HRC demand in Europe has picked up and remained at decent levels.

Meanwhile, over the past week, import HRC offers to Europe have remained stable at €500-520/mt ($585-608/mt) CFR and import CRC offers have continued to stand at €570-590/mt ($667-690/mt) CFR.
