Flat rolled product market in Israel

Russian steelmaker MMK production hot rolled coils have been booked at $550/mt CFR Israel with $10 extra for 1.80 mm material for bookings with a minimum tonnage of 5,000-6,000 mts. On the other hand, 1.50 mm materials have been booked in a price range of $580-585/mt CFR LO Ashdod. Moreover, the price of prime quality HDG from the stocks of Chinese mills, including Handan and a few others, is at around $780/mt CFR LO Ashdod for 0.50 mm-1.20 mm materials. On the other hand, the market level of hot rolled coils ex-Ilyich mill of Ukraine is at around $480/mt FOB Black Sea, while the price level of plates ex-same mill are at $660-665/mt CFR LO Ashdod level.
