Ex-CIS hot rolled coil offers to North Africa

SteelOrbis has been informed that demand for hot rolled coil (HRC) in the North African market has remained quiet during the past week amid the ongoing declines seen in import HRC offers. Buyers in the region are postponing their purchases due to expectations of a further decline in HRC prices, putting downward pressure on import HRC prices. Ex-CIS HRC offers to North African countries have moved down by $10/mt over the past two weeks to the range of $300-310/mt FOB.
