On October 23, SteelOrbis reported ex-China flat steel offers to Chile at $580-590/mt CFR for HRC, $630-640/mt CFR for CRC, and $685-695/mt CFR for HDG.
Sources inform SteelOrbis that prices are trending stable with HRC offers reportedly at $580-590/mt CFR, CRC at $630-640/mt CFR and HDG at $685-695/mt CFR. In regards HDG, while the range remains the same, a source noted “softness” as offers are predominantly shifting toward the bottom of the range. CRC, on the other hand, has been reportedly traded in the market at close to $630/mt CFR in the past week.
