Sources inform SteelOrbis that Chinese flat steel offer prices to Chile have moved up over the past 10 days as negotiations have shifted to January deliveries. On November 17, SteelOrbis reported Chinese offers to Chile for flat steel at $575-585/mt CFR for hot rolled coil (HRC), $620-630/mt CFR for cold rolled coil (CRC), and $675-685/mt CFR for hot dip galvanized (HDG) coil.
According to market sources, ex-China offers to Chile for flat steel are now reportedly at $590-600/mt CFR for HRC, $635-645/mt CFR for CRC, and HDG at $695-705/mt CFR. The ranges represent an increase of $15/mt on HRC and CRC and an increase of $20/mt on HDG.
