Activity in the Spanish domestic hot rolled coil (HRC) market is slow, amid fewer transactions due to the summer holidays. Domestic HRC offers in Spain stand at €520/mt ($728/mt) ex-works, while Spanish buyers are waiting for ArcelorMittal to announce its new price levels.
In the meantime, SteelOrbis has further learned that HRC import offers given to Spain from India and China stand in the price range of €520-530/mt ($728-742/mt) CFR.
