SteelOrbis has been informed that demand for Turkish flat steel in the export markets has remained slack during the past week, while Turkish flat steel exporters' discounts announced last week have failed to stimulate sales activities in their target markets. Turkish exporters' hot rolled coil (HRC) export prices have moved sideways during the past week in the range of $350-360/mt FOB. On the other hand, Turkish cold rolled coil (CRC) export offers have also remained unchanged in the same period, still in the range of $455-465/mt FOB. All prices are for October production.
