Demand in the local Turkish stainless steel market has remained at low levels in the current week. Turkish producers’ prices of 304 grade 2B stainless steel cold rolled coil (CRC) are still at $2,400-2,500/mt ex-works and their prices of 430 grade 2B stainless steel CRC are standing at $1,400-1,500/mt ex-works, both indicating sideways movement week on week. Market sources expect stainless steel prices to move up during the rest of February and in March in line with the rises in nickel quotations.
