Market sources report that demand in Turkey's flat steel export markets, particularly for cold rolled coil (CRC), have failed to record any increases over the past month. Chinese flat steel export offers at lower prices have continued to impact Turkey's export destinations and this negative effect on Turkish exports will likely continue for a while.

In the meantime, Turkey's hot rolled coil (HRC) export offers have declined by $30/mt over the past month to $545-555/mt FOB, while Turkish CRC export prices are now standing at $645-655/mt FOB, moving down by $25/mt over the same period.
