Over the past week, average Chinese flat steel product export offers have moved on a stable trend. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $585-595/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $615-625/mt FOB.

Participants in the Chinese market have not yet returned to business after the Chinese New Year holiday, resulting in a quiet market situation. It is thought that flat steel product export prices from China will move sideways or edge up slightly in the coming week.
