During the week ending May 17, average Chinese flat steel product export offer prices have mostly followed a stable trend, though slight changes in HRC and CRC prices. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $595-605/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $625-635/mt FOB.
It is thought that flat steel product export prices from China will move sideways in the coming week.
