Chinese HRC and CRC export offer prices decrease

Average Chinese hot rolled coil (HRC), and cold rolled coil (CRC) export offers have indicated a downtrend in the past week, though export prices of hot rolled plate and shipbuilding plate prices have risen slightly, while export prices of other flat products have remained stable. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil given by Chinese suppliers are at $570-600/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $620-630/mt FOB.

It is thought that flat steel offer prices from China will likely move sideways in the coming week due to National Holiday (October 1-8).
