During the week ending March 7, average Chinese flat steel export offer prices have mostly edged up, though slight declines have been observed for cold rolled coil. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $525-545/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $550-570/mt FOB.

It is expected that flat steel product export prices from China will move on a firm trend in the coming week.
