During the week ending June 28, average Chinese hot rolled plate (HRP) and shipbuilding plate export offer prices have increased slightly, though export offers for most flat steel products have remained stable. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $600-610/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $635-645/mt FOB.
It is expected that flat steel product export prices from China will move sideways in the coming week.
