SteelOrbis has learned that Chinese
stainless steel producer Taiyuan Iron and Steel Co. (
TISCO) has increased its export offers for 304 grade
stainless steel coils by $50/mt for February shipments.
Accordingly,
TISCO's offers for 304 grade
stainless steel hot rolled coils (HRC) are now standing at $2,620/mt FOB, while its offers for 304 grade
stainless steel cold rolled coils (CRC) are at $2,800/mt FOB.
In the meantime, the mill's offers for 430 grade
stainless steel HRC are still standing at $1,270/mt FOB, while its offers for 430 grade
stainless steel CRC are at $1,400/mt, with both prices remaining unchanged since August.
