Brazilian HDG exports offers decline

The reference price for Brazilian hot dipped galvanized exports (HDG) is currently $890/mt, against $920/mt two weeks ago, FOB conditions, having the G40 grade and 4.75mm thickness product as reference.

In December, Brazil exported 22,300 mt of HDG, while importing 16,800 mt of the product.

In the Brazilian domestic market, HDG is currently sold by producers in medium to large volumes to end users or distributors at BRL 5,161/mt ($966/mt), against BRL 5,281/mt two weeks ago, ex-works, no taxes included.
