After having declined for two weeks, the reference price for Brazilian export slab has remained stable from last week, with exports to the US still offered at $540/mt, FOB conditions, a local market source told SteelOrbis.

The source mentioned that exports to Europe remain in a price range of $500/mt to $510/mt, also FOB conditions, stable from last week.

The source added that in the short term the prices could oscillate, but expectations of higher prices are maintained for the second half of October.
