Baosteel raises local HRC prices slightly for June

On May 10, major Chinese steelmaker Baosteel issued its prices for carbon steel flat products for delivery in June.

Accordingly, the producer has decided to keep its local base prices for sections, cold rolled coil (CRC), hot-dipped galvanized (HDG), electro-galvanized products, non-grain-oriented electrical steel and grain-oriented electrical steel stable for June. At the same time, it has raised its local base prices for hot rolled coil (HRC), hot rolled pickled products and steel plate by RMB 50/mt ($7.1/mt), RMB 50/mt ($7.1/mt), and RMB 100/mt (14.2/mt) for June, SteelOrbis has learned.
