Major Chinese steelmaker Baosteel has issued its prices for carbon steel flat products for delivery in December this year.
The producer has decided to raise its local base prices for hot rolled coil (HRC), acid pickling plate, cold rolled coil (CRC), hot dip galvanized (HDG) and electro-galvanized products by RMB 100/mt ($14/mt), and has raised local base prices for steel plate, galvalume, medium-aluminum zinc aluminum magnesium, high-aluminum zinc aluminum magnesium and pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) by RMB 50/mt ($7/mt), though it has kept its prices for non-oriented silicon steel and oriented silicon steel stable, all for delivery in December.
