Baosteel keeps local HRC prices stable for March, raises HDG prices

Major Chinese steelmaker Baosteel has issued its prices for carbon steel flat products for delivery in March this year.

The producer has decided to keep its local base prices for hot rolled coil (HRC) stable for March, while also keeping its prices for steel plate, steel sections, hot rolled pickled products and cold rolled coil (CRC) stable.

At the same time, Baosteel has decided to raise its local prices for March for hot dip galvanized (HDG) and electro-galvanized products by RMB 200/mt ($30.8/mt) and RMB 300/mt ($46.3/mt), respectively, while increasing its prices for pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) and galvalume by RMB 150/mt ($23.1/mt) and RMB 100/mt ($15.4/mt), respectively. 

Prices include 13 percent VAT.
