Chinese mill Baosteel has announced its export stainless steel list prices for July shipments. Accordingly, the producer has kept its ferritic prices stable as compared to price levels for June deliveries, while it has revised its austenitic material prices upward by $800/mt against the backdrop of increases in nickel prices. Meanwhile, sources indicate that these levels have been considered to be on the high side and the mill may give certain discounts on its list prices.
