ZFP begins reconstruction of workshop No. 4

The Ukrainian ferroalloy producer Zaporozhye Ferro Alloy Plant (ZFP) has started reconstruction works at its workshop No. 4. In the next three years, the plant plans to invest about UAH 500 million ($108.6 million) in the reconstruction of the workshop in question.

During the reconstruction, ZFP plans to contract a new generation furnace and new gas purifying units, and to install energy saving and heat utilization technologies at the workshop.

In 2008 alone, ZFP will invest about UAH 40 million ($8.7 million) in the reconstruction of workshop No. 4.
