Zekelman returns as CEO of JMC Steel

Pipe and tube manufacturer JMC Steel Group announced Friday that CEO Frank A. Riddick III is leaving the company to pursue other matter and Barry Zekelman, the company's executive chairman, is returning to the office of CEO, effective immediately.

Barry Zekelman was appointed executive chairman of JMC Steel Group in March 2010. Prior to serving as executive chairman of JMC Steel Group, Zekelman held the position of chief operating officer and was promoted to chief executive officer and president of JMC in 2008. Zekelman and his brothers, Alan and Clayton, are the principal owners of JMC.

"I am excited and energized by this new development. I feel very comfortable being back in the driver's seat. My brothers and I are very passionate about this business and believe strongly in the future of JMC," added Zekelman.
