Wheatland Tube raises standard pipe prices

In a letter to customers, Sharon, Pennsylvania-based Wheatland Tube said that due to recent increases in hot rolled steel, effective with all new orders and all quotes that remain outstanding, Wheatland will increase prices on continuous weld pipe and sprinkler pipe by 4 percent and ERW Grade B standard pipe prices will increase $2.00 cwt. ($44/mt or $40/nt).

Wheatland said that orders in-house and shipped by midnight May 12 will be invoiced at current prices.
