Zaporizhstal’s crude steel output down 4.7 percent in H1

In June this year, Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal's finished steel product output decreased by 11.3 percent year on year to 253,700 mt, its pig iron production went down by 15.1 percent to 276,100 mt, while its crude steel production declined by 11.6 percent year on year to 306,100 mt, according to the company's results.

Meanwhile, in the first half of the current year, Zaporizhstal saw an 8.9 percent year-on-year decrease in its finished steel product output to 1.58 million mt, while its crude steel production fell by 4.7 percent year on year to 1.89 million mt and its pig iron output totaled 1.66 million mt, down 9.6 percent year on year.
