Xiwang Steel carries out hot run test on new EAF project

On September 20, China's Shandong Province-based Xiwang Steel carried out a successful hot run test on its new production line, which includes an 80-mt electric furnace, an 80-mt LF (ladle furnace) converter, and an R10m continuous casting machine.

The steelmaking project in question will produce carbon structural steel, low alloy steel, spring steel, hard wire steel, cold heading steel and stainless steel, with an annual capacity of 526,000 mt of billet or round bloom.
