WISCO sees record output of 5.5 mm wire rod for tire cord production

According to Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corporation (WISCO), in November up to and including November 22 its output of 5.5 mm wire rod used in tire cord production exceeded 40,000 mt. This volume is higher than all WISCO's previous monthly outputs of the product in question.
 
In addition, 82A and 72A steel grades accounted for 80 percent of the above output volume, amounting to 32,000 mt.
