Australia-based Western Green Energy Hub (WGEH) has announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with South-Korea based electric power distribution company Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) to jointly develop a green hydrogen hub.

The hub, which will be located in the southeast of Western Australia, has the potential to produce up to an annual 3.5 million mt of zero-carbon green hydrogen, for supply to both domestic and international customers, including South Korea.

The WGEH project will actively partner with the local and regional communities and help to grow their economies.
